Surval Mont-Fleuri is nestled in the heart of The Swiss Riviera on the shores of Lake Geneva and enjoys a stunning view of the French Alps on the other side of the lake. The school building and premises are top quality and offer an exceptional educational experience. During the summer months of July and August, Surval has a 9-week holiday course (minimum stay: 3 weeks). There is a maximum capacity of 85 girls between the ages of 10 to 20 years old. They represent approximately 35 different nationalities. Combining intensive language classes with a large choice of afternoon optional courses enhances a young girl's future and adds to her well-being.

Intensive French or English courses are offered in the mornings while the afternoons are set aside for optional courses, sports and local excursions. All classes are taught either by teachers working at Surval during the school year or by teachers hired especially for the summer course. In addition, a certain number of instructors are hired to escort younger students during the various outings. The school is located 2 km from the center of Montreux. During appropriate times, our shuttle-bus service brings students down to Montreux and back up to the school.

It is obvious that life in a boarding school is built up around certain rules, which should always be respected. At the beginning of students' stays at Surval they are informed of these rules. Every morning students are woken up not only with music, but our supervisors go into each room to wake them up. Before going to class, all students should tidy their room and make their beds. The transportation between Montreux and Surval is guaranteed by our shuttle-bus. It is strictly forbidden to hitchhike or go into a car with strangers.
You will find below a summary of the house rules, which students should respect:
1. Rooms must be in order. All students make their own beds.
2. Do not move the furniture in your room (all damages will be billed).
3. Do not wash or dry your clothes in the rooms.
4. Students should be on time for classes and meals.
5. Students who miss a class because of illness are not allowed to go out in the afternoon and evening.
6. Students should be neat, clean and appropriately dressed at all times.
Failure to respect the house rules results in appropriate punishment.
