They develop a competitive edge through an innovative post-High School finishing-style programme, bringing clarity to their future study and career ambitions.
The Surval Gap Year programme is built around our Surval Core instilling an appreciation of leadership, global perspectives, languages and culture, social enterprise and adventure.
Sports and adventure including water sports, hiking, climbing, cycling, skiing, personal fitness, tennis and yoga
Surval Adventure weekend for all students in September building a team spirit and taste for adventure
Cultural excursions e.g. Geneva, Bern, Lausanne, Gruyères, Evian, Neuchâtel, Gstaad, Chocolate Factory
Travel and explore with the school and independently. Organised residential trips in recent years have included Paris, Monaco, Italy, Copenhagen, Vienna, Iceland and Japan
During the Winter Term (January-March) all Gap students take part in weekly skiing or snowboarding on Tuesdays and Thursdays to a wide selection of beautiful Swiss Alpine Ski Resorts
