At Surval, our curriculum includes preparation for girls’ university choices and future careers. Our personalised approach ensures that each girl can make informed decisions about her future.
We nurture talents, abilities and interests and work with each girl to allow her to recognise the best career route for her and which subjects she would need to reach her desired goal. We use a student self-assessment process so to help girls identify suitable career options, and support them in building the skill-set for their future success. We advise on appropriate extra-curricular activities and work experience for the chosen career path.
We promote independent learning and thinking so that our girls are prepared for student life at university or college. Many of our students go on to excellent universities and colleges worldwide, and we maintain excellent contacts with some of the world’s leading universities.
We ensure our girls are fully informed in their education choices by:
- Inviting representatives of leading Universities to Surval to give presentations and workshops
- Equipping them with the most up to date admissions information and making them aware of the admissions procedures for each relevant establishment
- Attending international University and College Fairs and Open Days
- Running workshops at Surval so girls can explore all of the opportunities available to them worldwide
- Assisting them to plan far beyond university and focus on future employment opportunities
