Graeme Watson


Graeme Watson is a very experienced and dedicated Mathematics teacher. Graeme graduated in Applicable Mathematics from Abertay University in Dundee in 1986. From there he worked as a Computer Programmer for British Telecom in London before completing a PGCE in Mathematics and Computing at the University of Strathclyde in 1990. Graeme has taught in schools in Scotland, England and Africa. He has a tremendous track record of examination success with his students.

Graeme is very keen to enthuse his students by showing them that Mathematics is all around us and that we use it every day.

In 1995 Graeme allowed himself a career break and successfully completed selection and basic training with the world famous French Foreign Legion. Missing the classroom, he returned to teaching shortly after this with many good stories to share with his students.

Out of the classroom Graeme is a very keen mountaineer, with a particular enthusiasm for ice climbing. He is also a qualified rock climbing and snowboarding instructor and is very keen that his students make use of his knowledge and experience.
