Dr Sunil Talwar; an exceptional mathematician, outstanding teacher and great colleague

Posted on: 29th August 2014

Surval Montreux is sad to announce the sudden death of Dr Sunil Talwar on 16 August after a short illness. Dr Talwar was an exceptional mathematician, an outstanding teacher and a great colleague: we will all miss him. Our love and prayers go to his wife and his two daughters, Ebony and Kalistah, who were frequent visitors to school.

Sunil’s wife asked for anyone wishing to honour his memory to make a donation to the World Wild Life Fund. At Surval we have decided to ‘adopt an animal’ as our contribution: Ebony has chosen a Golden Lion Tamarind, and Kalistah a snow leopard. The girls will get regular updates and are pleased to be doing something practical and positive in memory of their father.
