Home away from Home
Surval is a much-loved home for up to 60 girls. The girls are cared for by our exceptional team of residential staff who are here to support and guide the girls through their Surval experience and support any needs they may have. Our School Nurse is on-site daily to look after medical needs and will accompany girls to doctor or other medical appointments.
Surval’s evening and weekend programme ensures girls make the most of their free time and their fabulous Swiss location with trips around Switzerland and in-house activities. In the House, girls are supported to manage their time so that they achieve a balance between their studies, leisure and relaxation. In the evening support is readily available with the organisation of homework if needed.
Bedrooms
Originally built as a hotel, our beautiful house is full of character and provides a homely environment for the girls. Bedrooms are shared by 2 or 3 girls with a few single rooms available. Most rooms have balconies with a wonderful view of the lake or the mountains and all have personal safes and a fridge to store any drinks and snacks. Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.
Bedrooms are a shared space where our girls can relax, talk with friends, contact family. Each girl has a bed, desk, shelves, wardrobe and is encouraged to personalise her own area, making her bedroom a home-from-home with photos, posters and teddies!
