School fees for 2025–2026
Annual fees
The total annual school fee for the 2025–2026 academic year is CHF 112,000
Fees are payable by term, in advance:
- Autumn term: CHF 40,000
- Winter term: CHF 40,000
- Spring term: CHF 32,000

What the school fees include
The school fees cover almost all aspects of daily life, learning and care at Surval.
Academic learning and support
- All academic classes and electives
- Individual academic support and learning clinics
- English as an Additional Language (EAL) lessons
- All course materials and textbooks
- Academic and wellbeing profiling to support personalised learning
- University and careers counselling for Grades 10–12, including workshops, fairs and 1:1 guidance
Boarding and daily life
- Full boarding accommodation and all meals, seven days a week during term time
- Bed linen and towels, laundered weekly
- Personal laundry twice per week
- Internet access
- Daily transport to and from Montreux on school days
activities, sport and enrichment
- Weekly sports electives
- In-school clubs and societies
- Curriculum day excursions and weekend day trips
- Evening and weekend house activities
- Social events including gala dinners, graduation and prizegiving
Winter term skiing
- Ski pass and ski equipment hire
- Weekly group ski or snowboard lessons during the Winter Term
- Ski Week in the Swiss Alps
- Loan of a Surval ski jacket
Health, safety and care
- Comprehensive pastoral care from residential staff
- Support from the School Nurse, including help with medical appointments
- Health and accident insurance (valid while the student is at Surval)
- Travel and liability insurance
Additional costs to be aware of
Some optional or personal costs are not included in the school fees. These may include:
- Personal spending money
- Medical or dental treatment not covered by insurance
- Airport transfers (Geneva airport)
- Private music lessons or additional private academic lessons
- Optional residential trips and extended weekend travel
- Optional individual sports coaching
- External exam and university application fees
- Replacement uniform items
- Single room supplement, if available
Parents are always informed in advance if additional costs apply.
Payment and support
Fees are payable in advance by bank transfer, Convera or credit card. Our Admissions and Finance teams are happy to answer questions and support families through the process.
