Life on the Slopes
Winter Camp makes the most of our alpine location:
- Ski Thursdays: The whole school heads to the slopes every Thursday afternoon for skiing or snowboarding.
- Weekend trips: Visits to world-class resorts such as Gstaad and Verbier.
- Ski week: At the end of January, academics pause for a full week in the mountains. Girls enjoy skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, and evening activities such as ice skating, torchlit descents, thermal baths, and tobogganing. The week ends with an awards ceremony and a traditional Swiss fondue.
A Taste of Switzerland
Our winter activities extend far beyond the slopes.
Campers might:
- Glide across Montreux’s ice rinks
- Try husky sledging in Leysin
- Experience snowshoeing in peaceful alpine trails
- Visit the Olympic Museum in Lausanne
- Indulge in a sweet trip to the Cailler Chocolate Factory in Gruyère
A Welcoming Home Away From Home
Girls stay in comfortable shared rooms with en-suite bathrooms and balconies overlooking the mountains or lake. Our dedicated boarding team ensures each camper feels safe, supported, and part of the Surval family from the moment she arrives.
