Marine Hily studied English at the Université de Bretagne Occidentale in Brest, France, where she was born. She taught French in Minnesota before moving to England to complete a PGCE in French at the University of St Mark & Saint John in Plymouth. After teaching in Devon, UK, she came to Switzerland, where she has been teaching French for six years.
