Art, Amphitheatres and beautiful dogs!

Posted on: 11th November 2016

On Sunday we went to the Foundation Pierre Gianadda, where we saw an exhibition of many works by Picasso. The Foundation is also a homage to Jacqueline, Picasso’s last partner and his model for almost all of the paintings that are in the exhibition. Housed underground in the same building we then found the most amazing Swiss automobile museum, where we took the opportunity to have a good look around and admire the fifty pristine vintage Swiss cars on show there. Outside in the museum’s beautiful garden, we contemplated a wonderful permanent exhibition of sculptures, aptly named the  “Parc de Sculptures”. Next to the Foundation building, we came across an impressive amphitheatre where we took a lot of funny photos!

Finally, we went to the “Musée et Chiens du Saint-Bernard”; this is a modern and extremely cute museum which also ensures these legendary dogs with their universally known symbol live on. We were in our element stroking and cuddling them, particularly the adorable puppies… we really enjoyed ourselves and had so much fun!!!
