Boat trip to France and back

Posted on: 18th May 2016

The second day of the Ascension weekend brought the students warm weather, seafront landscapes and ice cream! We took the boat across the waters  of Lake Geneva to the small picturesque town called Evian. Yes, you are right: it is where the water comes from! (although of course Surval water, directly from the mountain springs to our fountain, is free!) The students spent the day strolling around the beautiful town, going into boutique shops, experiencing the hustle and bustle of the local market, practising their French and relaxing with some well deserved food in the sunshine. By late afternoon we were off again on the boat, travelling back to Ouchy in Lausanne and then heading back to school, or for most of the students it was to head back to Montreux for more down time in the town.
