Brazilian Festival

Posted on: 13th October 2014 | Category: Swiss adventures

Wow! That was some music…A Brazilian festival was held in the Marché Couvert in Montreux last weekend. Here we enjoyed many food stalls, music and dance acts allowing us to take part in celebrating Brazilian culture. There was a wide range of Brazilian delicacies on offer and the Brazilian pastel was voted most popular amongst the crowd. The highlight of the festival’s activities were the Brazilian percussionists who played the familiar Brazilian beats that got the whole crowd dancing and clapping. The festival created a completely new and different atmosphere along Monteux’s lakeside promenade.
