Celebrating UN French Language Day at Surval

Today is the United Nations French Language Day, which celebrates multilingualism and cultural diversity, in addition to promoting the equal use of all six official languages throughout the UN Organisation. Surval will be celebrating 'Journée Internationale de la Francophonie' through two student-led French-speaking assemblies: one took place this morning; the second will occur next week in the form of a French-based game in which the whole school will participate! You can read the girls’ script (in French and with an accompanying English translation) for this morning’s assembly here.

Learning a language opens up a whole new world; the students of Surval are fortunate to be studying French in a French-speaking country, which gives them the opportunity to try out their new skills every day. In today's Student Blog, Alexa, FY, Mexico, shares how she made the best decision by learning a new language.
