Last day of skiing

Posted on: 27th April 2016

The day started off with poor visibility and having to feel your way round the pistes. All of a sudden the sky cleared to reveal lovely powder fields at the side of the piste.  We had half a dozen runs down the same piste using the sides to experience the float of powder snow under the watchful eye of the instructor.

As it was the last day of the season the restaurants were mostly shut.  When we eventually found one open they said that the kitchen had just closed!!  When we got back to meet the minibus we were all hungry but happy to experience a fantastic last day of the season.

'It was a great day with great people. Snowboarding is cool in general but that day the snow was awesome and we had fun.' Andreia, Grade 12
