Paris trip for Surval

Posted on: 18th October 2013 | Category: Trips and excursions

The school's travel itinerary kicked off with a wonderful, memorable trip to Paris. In four days we crossed and re-crossed the city from Sacré Cœur to Camps de Mars,  Montmartre to Versailles, taking in the Louvre, the Pompidou, the Notre Dame, and Musée d'Orsay, and not forgetting plenty of designer-shopping on the Champs Elysée. Unforgettable were the photo-opportunities at the Eiffel Tower as its lights burned and sparkled.   Paula Torrado described her experience as, 'An opportunity to learn, explore, and have a good time.'

The party dined well at the Tour de Montparnasse, with a superb panorama of La Ville Lumière, and also ate a fabulous meal on a Bateau Parisienne, sailing along the Seine by night. Maria Robina said of the excursion: 'What I like most about the Paris was getting to know the other girls more, and spending a great time in galleries and museums.'

The trip also saw the launch of the Surval Travel Log, in which the girls record their personal impressions and observations in a mixture of photo albums and gathered materials for their every excursion during the school year.
