Ricardo Lopez

Ricardo Lopez was born in Mataró, an Spanish coastal city near Barcelona, and he has always been passionate about languages (besides Spanish, he speaks fluently English, French and Italian). Therefore, after obtaining a Master's degree in Law and working in the legal sector, he returned to university and took a Master's degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language in Spain and a PGCE in Modern Languages in London. He adores teaching and education in general, the world he has been in for more than a decade. He has taught Spanish to teenagers and adults in his country, in the United Kingdom and here in Switzerland.

Ricardo is a great lover of sports, especially basketball, which he has practised for many years, although his greatest idol is (of course) the tennis player Rafa Nadal. He is also passionate about books. He loves reading and discussing about novels and essays of any kind, as well as writing: he is currently trying to finish a series of Spanish textbooks and holds a lifelong ambition to write a novel like his hero, Mario Vargas Llosa! His favourite music is art rock.
