New College of the Humanities visit Surval Liberal Arts

Posted on: 12th October 2016 | Category: School Life, University guidance

This Wednesday, Marie-Ann Martin the Head of European Recruitment for the New College of the Humanities came to talk to the Liberal Arts girls. She explained everything, from their way of teaching to their location in the heart of London. What really impressed me is their uniqueness in teaching and curriculum, the fact that you can choose a major and minor subject was very appealing to me. I also liked that there’s one-to-one tutoring, this challenges you to work hard but at the same time provides individual attention and help when needed. What I liked the most was that NCH is a small collage so if I were to choose to study there, the teaching would be personalized and encouraging. Ms. Martin explained that students focus on different branches of humanities as well as other courses that will help you succeed after university. This seemed very interesting to me because these courses prepare you for the world of work, enabling you to put the theory into practice.
