Ski Thursdays

Posted on: 29th January 2014

The snow was steadily falling as Surval School hit the slopes for the first ‘Ski Thursday’ afternoon of winter term. The skiers were split into beginner, intermediate and advanced group each with their own instructor and a separate group for the snowboarders. Most girls already had their ski legs warmed up from Andermatt Winter Camp and were soon whizzing down the Morgin pistes. Whilst the beginners were just trying to stay upright, the advanced group were perfecting their balance by skiing with no poles! Bad visibility and cold weather meant fewer photo stops than normal, but great fun was had by all and the afternoon was topped off with steaming mugs of hot chocolate!
