Survalienne Spotlight: Eksha (Class of 2020, Thailand)

19 October 2025

We are delighted to feature Eksha, a proud Survalienne from Thailand, whose journey embodies the spirit of confidence, curiosity, and compassion that Surval inspires in every girl. During her time at Surval, Eksha embraced every opportunity with enthusiasm — from academics and winter sports to cultural experiences and the friendships that made Surval feel like home.

Now completing her Chiropractic degree, Eksha continues to pursue her passion for health and wellness, preparing to begin an exciting new chapter back in Thailand. Her story reflects the essence of Surval: a place that nurtures independence, global perspective, and lifelong connections.

My time at Surval was truly lovely. In many ways, it brought me out of the safety shell I grew up in and challenged me to discover who I am as a young woman, surrounded by so much love and care. Being at Surval is such a privilege at any age, and I only wish my time there had lasted longer. It went by in the blink of an eye, especially with Covid cutting my experience short.

When I think of Surval, I think of a colourful and warm place — another kind of safety shell that became home, filled with endless opportunities and activities that set us girls apart from the rest of the world. I can’t pinpoint one single thing Surval did for me, because it shaped me in so many different ways.

I miss everything — from the food and winter sports to the late-night chats with friends and laughing in class with teachers. At Surval, everyone truly becomes family. Not to mention how beautiful Montreux is — it feels like studying with a five-star hotel view right in front of you.

I am now completing my chiropractic degree and am recently engaged. After my studies, I plan to return home to Thailand to get married and begin the next chapter of my life — one filled with health, wellness (or, as I like to say, “cracking bones”), and love.
